Spareparking has been setup to enable individuals and agents to advertise parking spaces for rent and/or sale.
Spaces can be made available for either all or part of the day on a weekly or monthly basis. This enables companies or
individuals to rent parking spaces at cheaper rates than other parking such as expensive multistory car parks or parking meters.

A: Yes. Your space should be priced with its availability and location in mind. Some spaces in the uk are as much as £500 per month to rent while others are as little as £20 per month
Q: Am I allowed to rent my space to someone else?
A: spareparking.com suggests that you should check this with your landlord, letting agent or the developers of the building in which your space(s) are situated.
Q: How much does it cost to use spareparking.com?
A: spareparking is currently a free, if we manage the transaction for you and take payment from the client a small percentage of the payment will be taken.
Q: What is demand like for this service?
A: People are desperate to get a permanent city centre space to avoid searching for a space every day. It's much cheaper and easier to rent a space
permanently that to pay every day for a space. The community of people renting out spaces is growing steadily as more and more city centre apartments
are being built.
Q: What kind of agreements are required?
A: A space rental agreement should be used with the tenant of a parking space. An example agreement is detailed further down this page.
Q: What about tax on income?
A: Seek financial advice on additional taxable income relating to additional income.
Q: What about payment for the space?
A: We would advise that you take payment in advance and that the customer sets up a standing order for regular payments
where appropriate. Provide reciepts for payment.
Q: What about if theres a problem with the person that rents my space?
A: You are the landlord of the space and as such any problems with payment or disputes with the tenant of
the space must be resolved between the two entities irrelivant of spareparking
